Show allFrom the beginning of April, Denise Tonella will be holding the reins at the Swiss National Museum. A historian originally hailing from Ticino, Ms Tonella will be officially introduced after 100 days in office.
On 1 April, Denise Tonella will be taking over the directorship of the Swiss National Museum (SNM). A historian originally hailing from Ticino, she succeeds Andreas Spillmann. Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic the official introduction of Ms Tonella, 41, has been deferred. If the epidemiological situation permits, a target date after 100 days in office, probably in early July 2021, is envisaged.
