Who of us does not remember making paper cuts as a child? The exhibition «Paper cuts» presents a fascinating paper world created with the help of scissors and sharp little knives. The show brings together contemporary as well as historical works from the eighteenth through the twentieth century and explains the development of this remarkable art form. Among others it displays works by Johann Jakob Hauswirth, the father of paper cutting, and Louis David Saugy.
