Anne Frank und die Schweiz - Überblicksführung

In ihrem Versteck im Hinterhaus schreibt Anne Frank über ihren Alltag, ihre Gefühle und Gedanken. Warum wird ihr Tagebuch heute auf der ganzen Welt gelesen? Was erfahren wir dadurch über den Holocaust? Der Rundgang erzählt, wer Anne Frank war und wie sie lebte. Dabei zeigt sich auch, welchen Bezug die Familie Frank zur Schweiz hatte. Ein herausforderndes Thema wird feinfühlig erkundet.

Für Familien mit Kindern ab 10 Jahren.

Die Kinder werden von ihren Eltern oder einer anderen Bezugsperson während der ganzen Angebotsdauer begleitet. Bitte melden Sie daher alle Teilnehmenden (Kinder und Erwachsene) an.

The exhibition

The diary of Anne Frank is world famous. It’s less well known that the journey to global publication began in Switzerland. While Anne, her sister and her mother were killed in the concentration camp, Anne’s father was the only family member to survive the Holocaust. Otto Frank moved to live with his sister in Basel in the 1950s. From there, he made it his task to share his daughter’s diary with the world whilst preserving her message on humanity and tolerance for the coming generations.
