The National Museum Zurich is accessible for people with reduced mobility. There are parking spaces for blue badge holders. These can be reserved at info@nationalmuseum.ch or by calling +41 44 218 65 11.

• The museum and bistro can be entered using a ramp.
• The main entrance has an electric door.
• All the floors of the museum can be reached by lift.
• Disabled toilets are available in various locations.
• All the exhibition rooms are accessible for people with limited mobility (corridors at least 1.20 m wide), with the exception of the family exhibition “A Magic Carpet ride through history”, the Trachtenturm  the upper chapel and a few historical rooms (Wiggen, Rosenburg, Pestalozzi and Oetenbach).
• Portable folding seats and a range of seating options are available for visitors.
• Two wheelchairs can be reserved free of charge with a prior booking.
• The National Museum also has a wheelchair (SCEWO) that combines driving on two wheels, climbing stairs and various seating functions in one machine. You can reserve this wheelchair for your visit to the National Museum. Our trained supervisors will show you the features of the wheelchair and accompany you on your tour.
